There are no scratches or cracks in this set, and no obvious flaws. The cereal bowl is deep with a medium width bottom, perfect for my morning bowl of Chex; trust your child to eat their Cheerios out of this bowl effortlessly. the set also includes an 11-inch dinner plate and a 9-inch salad plate. It lacks the versatile wider salad/pasta bowl, but if you want a more complete set you can also add the additional utensils you want and end up with more than just a 9-piece set for you.
