Raw Materials For Melamine Tableware

Jan 15, 2021

Melamine powder is made of melamine formaldehyde resin as raw material, cellulose as base material, and pigments and other additives added. Because it has a three-dimensional network structure, it is a thermosetting raw material. (The scrap edges cannot be recycled into the furnace for production). The scientific name of melamine powder is melamine formaldehyde resin, abbreviated as "MF"...

A1 material (not for tableware)

(Contains 30% melamine resin, and 70% of ingredients are additives, starch, etc.)

Features: Although it has melamine ingredients, it still has plastic characteristics. It is highly toxic, intolerant to high temperatures, intolerant to stains, intolerant to corrosion, rough in appearance, easy to deform, discolor, and poor gloss.

A3 material (not for tableware)

Contains 70% melamine resin, and another 30% ingredients are additives, starches, etc.,

Features: The appearance is almost the same as the original product (A5 material), but once used, the product is not resistant to dirt, easy to change color, fading, easy to deform under high temperature, and not resistant to corrosion.

A5 material can be used for melamine tableware (100% melamine resin)

Features: non-toxic and odorless, temperature resistance from -30 degrees Celsius to 120 degrees Celsius, bump resistance, corrosion resistance, not only beautiful appearance, light weight, heat preservation, and safe use.

A8 material tableware characteristics

Its characteristics are as follows:

One. Melamine formaldehyde molding powder is odorless, tasteless and non-toxic.

Two. Melamine formaldehyde plastic has high surface hardness, gloss and scratch resistance.

Three. It has self-extinguishing, fireproof, impact resistance and good crack resistance.

Four. High temperature, high humidity, good stability, solvent resistance, and alkali resistance.
